The Joshua Foundation

300 voices, 300 hearts,
A singing sensation

On Thursday 4th December 2008, a phenomenal singing explosion occurred. 300 sound waves bellowed through Cardiff bay when 300 children from all the schools of Rhondda Cynon Taff sang their hearts out to raise money in remembrance of Joshua Cornelius. Joshua Cornelius was an average 7 year old boy but had a heart-breaking disease. He had a rare cancer resting in his stomach. After a great deal of chemotherapy, he could not hold on any longer and his poor heart collapsed. Joshua Cornelius died 10 years ago, on December 4th. We hope that every 10 years, schools will mark his life with another sensational concert in his memory.
