Dear Parents/Guardian of Year 6 Pupils,

Y Pant Cluster Year 6 Residential Experience

Morfa Bay Adventure, Pembrokeshire.

Friday June 22^nd to Sunday June 24^th 2012

Pupils in Year 6 who will be going to Y Pant Comprehensive in September 2012 are being offered the opportunity to attend a residential experience at Morfa Bay, Pendine in Pembrokeshire. This trip is in place of the Kingswood residential trip. Over the past 4 years pupils have enjoyed the opportunity to get to know other pupils and staff in preparation for Year 7. They also have the experience of many outdoor adventure activities which aim to promote teamwork, raise individual self confidence and self esteem.

The total cost of the visit will be £125.00 (£105.00 for accommodation, food and outdoor adventure activities + £20.00 for transport).

The cost per pupil is £105.00. Pontyclun Primary School will cover the cost of transport (£20.00).

To find out more about this weekend residential experience, a representative from Morfa Bay Adventure will speak to parents at Y Pant Comprehensive School on Tuesday, 31^st January 2012 at 6.30pm.

A deposit of £20.00 will be required before half term – Friday, 10^th February 2012. Please make this payable to Pontyclun Primary School Fund. You can if you wish, pay in instalments.

I would be grateful if cheques are made payable to Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council (or alternatively RCTCBC).
