Welsh country dancers

Mrs Abel and Mrs Brown would like to say a big DIOLCH and DA IAWN to the 14 girls from years 3,4,&5 who danced outside at the PAG Victorian Christmas fayre on Saturday! You were absolutely brilliant despite the cold and drizzly weather :) Even your mums, dads and grandparents enjoyed joining in at the end too!

( I do have some photos but unfortunately there seems to be a problem with the blog uploading them!!)

Please note that country dancing practise this coming Thursday (1st Dec) is CANCELLED due to the Christmas fayre. Also next week practise will only be for the children who are coming with Mrs Abel and Mrs Brown to Peterson Super Ely on the 10th December. Country dancing practise will resume normally after the Christmas break.

Thank you

24/11/11
Dear Parents.

Please can I remind parents that Nursery finishes at 3.15pm and Reception at 3.20pm.

It has been brought to my attention that parents are beginning to congregate as early as 2.45pm to collect their children. This is not ideal and can disrupt and impact on the normal teaching and learning going on in class as well as sometimes causing a conflict of interest with regards to individual children’s health and safety.

I would therefore ask that parents do not arrive to collect children until 5 minutes before the end of the school day.

Would Reception parents also be mindful, that Nursery leave before Reception and so ensure there is enough space for Nursery children to be safely and securely handed over to those who are collecting them.

Thank you for your co-operation in this matter.

Yours faithfully

Dear Parents,

RE: Industrial Action Wednesday November 30th 2011

I refer to recent announcements by several Trades Unions, including UNISON, GMB, Unite, UCAC, NUT, NASUWT and NAHT that, they have endorsed strike action over pensions on 30th November 2011.

As a result of these announcements, I have to inform parents, that unless there is a change in circumstances, the school will be closed to pupils on Wednesday 30th November 2011.

We will re-open on Thursday 1st December 2011.

I apologise for any inconvenience this might cause.

Yours faithfully,

H Roberts.

Every year our wonderful PTA organise a SPOOKY night of dancing, fun and games in the hall. This year was no different and was really well supported by children in both the infants and juniors who dressed up for Halloween. Thank you to the PTA members and parents who helped, the children had a fantastic time.
