Year 6 Skiing update

I have received a text from Mr Llewellyn informing me that they have arrived safe and well and were looking forward to a great day on the slopes.

World book day

Just a reminder that tomorrow is world book day. The children are welcome to come into school dressed as characters from their favourite books.

St. David's Day 2013

March the 1st at Pontyclun Primary is a celebration of "all things Welsh" for St. David's Day. Every child in the school takes part in our Eisteddfod competitions including: written poetry, story writing, handwriting, art, singing, performance poetry (Welsh and English) and an instrumental competition. Staff have once again been amazed by the amount of talent on show. Certificates were given to all competition winners and runners up, congratulations to certificate holders, and a huge well done to every child in the school for taking part. Photographed below are all of the certificate winners from each of the 67 competitions.

Valentines Disco

Every year our wonderful PTA organise a Valentines Disco, a night of dancing, fun and games in the hall. This year was no different, thank you to the PTA members and parents who helped, the children had a fantastic time.

Country Dancing Club

Country Dancing will resume as normal on the 14th March.
